The eye goes directly to the bottom left corner...blue shape is too large, overpowers. The white point takes me out of the painting before I have a chance to enjoy the focal. All of the blue shapes are very raw in color, a slightly blue grey would be a better choice. A bit of blue close to the focal might bring the eye in, Right now the blue shapes are dominant. You paint beautifully...concentrate on the design and it's elements, remember the do's and dont's that we talked about in class. Go over your notes while evaluating this piece. Resolve the things that are not working or allow it to incubate till we discuss the differant ways to "fix" the problem areas. Keep up the good work...you are on your way. See you in November. Cory
